“The number one shopping destination in the Lowcountry”. Since it was built in 1972, Northwoods Mall is the largest of the shopping malls located within the city limits of North Charleston.
Facilities
Northwoods has approximately 136 stores, including a stable of anchor stores that are known throughout the country: JCPenney, Sears, Belk, Books-A-Million and Dillard’s. Aside from these, Northwoods Mall features 130 speciality stores and eateries catering to the needs of every type of mall shopper; including the Disney Store, Victoria’s Secret, the Gap, American Eagle Outfitter and Foot Locker.
With 8 screen movie theater facilities, Northwoods Mall also caters to movie-goers and has a large food court sporting Italian, Chinese or steakery cuisines. For those simply looking to refresh and rejuvenate themselves, the food court also has an Auntie Anne’s and McDonalds. Restroom facilities are located near the food court and elsewhere throughout the mall.
Northwoods Mall also offers visitors the option to utilize their stroller or wheelchair rentals while perusing the mall from the Customer Service Center in the Dillard’s Wing of the mall.
Hours
Northwoods Mall’s hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. Walk-through shoppers can, however, window shop starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. Sundays.

Northwoods Mall is located 40 minutes from Folly Beach on the I-26 (US 52/78) at exit 209 in North Charleston, South Carolina. The mall has parking available for 4,664 motor vehicles.
